The Autocraft team

Autocraft have been serving the local community for in excess of 40 years now and in fact some of the original customers are still very loyal to us.Whilst Autocraft have maintained their friendly local image they have of course needed to keep in step with the ever increasing demands of the Motor Industry.

Technological advances have meant considerable investment in equipment and training, however, we have still managed to stay one of the most popular and competitve garages in the area.

Sam Topley

Sam started with Autocraft in 1993 as a Work Experience candidate. He then progressed to becoming a “Saturday Boy” and then went on to complete NVQ’s 1, 2 & 3 becoming qualified in 2000. The following year Sam completed his NT course which allowed him to carry out MOT Testing and the rest is history as they say

Colin Mockridge

Colin came to us in September 2007 having served the previous 8 Years at a Hyundai Dealership in Sidcup, Kent. Colin has been an MOT Tester for 14 Years and a qualified Technician for “longer than he cares to remember”.

Jamie Lacock

Jamie joined Autocraft as a “Saturday Boy” during thr summer of 2014 aspiring to become a mechanic. After many sweeps of the broom and myriad cups of tea made, we started to shadow him whilst carrying out minor vehicle works.

During July 2015 Jamie began his apprenticeship with Autocraft and is fast becoming a useful part of the organisation. He is achieving good results at College and is very reliable and honest, and, he still makes the odd cup of tea.
